Gentle Discipline

Work PunishmentsWork punishments cover a very broad spectrum of different types of disciplines that can be used in order to discipline children and teenagers. At its heart, this is a simple matter: work punishments generally refers to the assignment of additional chores which need to be completed by a particular time. What the chores are is what makes these punishments more or less harsh for the child or teenager on the receiving end of the punishment, and that's what we'll really be discussing on this page.
With regard to work punishments, the administrators have a piece of advice: Play them out. These are some of the best and most entertaining disciplines that your child or teen character is likely to receive, and it's a lot of fun to play them out. You'll enjoy doing it and have the opportunity to expand your character and have him or her learn from the experience of the punishment, and you'll be giving us what we want because it will be at least one thread that isn't a bratty thread from you. The following list isn't comprehensive but represents some of the chores that may be asked of misbehaving children or teenagers. They've been color coded in order to help you to determine how harsh we believe these punishments to be and I've taken the time to put an age range on each of these for age-appropriateness.
