Types of Discipline

Types of Discipline Employed at Southern ComfortThe lists on the pages which are linked to the left are hardly meant to be comprehensive. In terms of what can happen at Southern Comfort, the sky's the limit. We aren't particularly restrictive in terms of what we allow our members to do as long as it's done with consent.
What you will find here is an extensive list of the types of discipline that the administrators use with one another. For those who are coming into the site, these can be viewed as suggestions for things you might like to try or for things you'd like to cross off your list. One way or another, this should give you a good idea of the types of things that we enjoy doing and the disciplines that we employ. These lists are what you should take into consideration when forming your discipline and limits worksheets for the site. We've kept the limits worksheets fairly open in order to give you the freedom to make your own choices. You are free, using our discipline sheets, to choose what you like and what you don't like, listing limits, things you'd like to try, and things you really love. How you complete these will be up to you, but we do want for our members to keep the following lists of disciplinary practices in mind when forming their discipline sheets. You will also want to pay special attention to our file on Discipline Codes. You will have a better understanding of the different forms of discipline used here as they are listed if you read the Discipline Codes page first, but it is by no means expected (and the pages are listed here out of order. Each of the different forms of discipline is color coded on the related pages and this will help you to determine what your color code level should be. While looking over these, please bear in mind that while an interest in physical punishment is expected (to the point of being required), there is no reason at all why your character has to get into trouble in the first place, or why you can't label your character a green (very minimal physical punishment) discipline code in order to prevent from needing to receive a lot of punishment in the first place. Keep this in mind during character creation, read through all of the discipline files, and you should be good to go! Please make sure to read up on both sections of discipline, the physical and the gentle. These are equally important in the way that we play on Southern Comfort and we want to ensure that you have a solid grasp of what we do here before you sign up!
